Forte Bank
It’s hard to believe this branch concept comes from Kazakhstan, the native home of Borat, and the butt of many jokes stereotyping backwards Eastern European countries. This design looks just as modern and contemporary as any branch you’d see in other parts of the world, if not more so. The space offers three distinct experiences: an assisted sit-down zone, a private meeting space, and a fast-casual service zone. Source: Dinn Design

BTPN Bank – Jenius Mobius Hub
BTPN Bank launched its new Jenius Mobius Hub in Jakarta, Indonesia. Jenius is the bank’s mobile banking offshoot — a digital banking arm like UBank. So why a physical manifestation of the digital Jenius app? The ‘Mobius Hub’ is a natural physical extension of the Jenius App – a ‘pop-up’ concept which behaves as a tactical marketing tool for acquisition, awareness and education. BPER Banca – Branch Prototype
This branch concept aims to remove the physical barriers (e.g., bullet-proof glass, high-security doors) by offering an open and transparent experience that is simultaneously friendly, natural and appropriately institutional. The interior draws on a combination of natural materials — wood and glass — to create a space that evokes something akin to an Apple store. The service experience starts with a concierge who issues a “beeper” to branch visitors that’s similar to those that restaurant hosts use with diners on a waiting list — an interesting approach to queuing. BPER Banca will deploy 40 more branches utilizing this concept, and will also retrofit the remaining 1,200 branches in a similar style. Source: Dinn Design

Commonwealth Credit Union
This branch uses the teller pod concept, but presents the stations in a more traditional and familiar format — in a row, with counters and interesting glass-bubble partitions. A concierge/welcome desk anchors the experience in the center of the branch. A beautiful LED lighting display was deployed in the vestibule’s tower, with a rainbow of colors that continually shift throughout the night. Notice in the lounge/waiting area that the credit union provides a coffee and hot cocoa station, complimentary popcorn, and a refrigerator with refreshments. Source: K4 Architecture & Design
Sberbank
