Frost Bank: One of the Most Beautiful Brand Identities in the Banking World

The Financial Brand has admired Frost Bank for many years. They have one of the most clean, consistent, creative brand identities in the financial industry. Their style, design and message is both visually appetizing and localized for relevance while oozing Texas flair. Enjoy this huge visual showcase of the Frost Bank brand — a gallery with over 17 ads, photos and videos.

Subscribe TodayTip of the Hat: To ad agency McGarrah Jessee, who has consistently produced some amazing work for Frost Bank since the late 90s. Frost Bank has stuck with their agency for nearly 15 years, which is almost unheard of in either industry — advertising or banking. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when a financial institution (1) maintains brand clarity and (2) works with their agency as a true partner, (3) for as long as Frost has. It’s been a team effort over the long term, and the results speak for themselves.

Back in October 2013, The Financial Brand singled Frost Bank’s website out as one of the simple — yet visually luscious — in the banking industry. Every day, the homepage rotates in a new gorgeous photo celebrating Texas. The photos are all shot and submitted by Frost customers.

  1. This is a really awesome post. Thank you for sharing. I would like to give a big awesome virtual hug to Frost Bank & McGarrah Jessee. When two companies have great synergy and even better depth and design taste, great things are created.

This is a classy, iconic, and branding at it’s deepest level. Keep up the great work!

  2. Kim Raney says:

They are a great bank and have done a marvelous job over the years separting themselves from the rest. One of my favorite Frost ads is “If Texas was it’s own country…we be their bank!” Congrats to Frost & McGarrah for a successful partnership.

  3. brian brooker says:

Always clean. Always tasty. A great agency-client partnership inevitably leads to great work.

  4. David Fowler says:

Shockingly appropriate, beautifully written and designed. Frost and McGarrah Jessee had a lot of guts to pull this work off. But then, that’s the way you do it in Texas, right?

  5. Even as a CUer I’ve always been fascinated with Frost’s brand. Plus having lived in Austin for the past 20 years, I’ve seen their brand get stronger and stronger over time. Good on them and McGarrah for a partnership to emulate.
