The Financial Brand Forum 2014 will feature how-to sessions from the sharpest minds in the retail banking space today. Here’s your chance to get in on the action early.
A few months ago, The Financial Brand fielded a survey to gauge reader interest in attending a conference that delivered the same high level of strategic insight and practical tools you’ve come to expect from the articles you find online here at the website.
The results of the survey were phenomenal, and we were overwhelmed by readers’ reaction. An amazing 85% of respondents say they would attend, and nearly 400 people requested a private invitation. That’s without even knowing the date, location or agenda! We deeply appreciate the level of enthusiasm readers like you have for The Financial Brand. Thank you.
The Financial Brand Forum 2014 – April 3-4, 2014
The Financial Brand Forum 2014 will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, April 3-4, 2014. The Forum will not be your typical financial services industry conference — no futurists prognosticating about what financial services might look like in 20 years, nor presentations with subtle sales pitches. Nope, none of that. The Forum will give attendees practical, actionable advice, showing financial marketers how to tackle the big branding, marketing and advertising problems they face today — candid, direct, honest and focused on results.
Space is limited and this event will definitely sell out, so you should register now before it’s too late. And if you’re a vendor or consultant in the financial marketing space, you should definitely consider working with us to find the perfect sponsorship that delivers real, meaningful value to your firm.

Your Chance to Speak at The Forum
We already have a number of excellent speakers lined up — some of the brightest minds in financial marketing. There are a limited number of sessions slots, but we are accepting proposals for the remaining slots.
The Financial Brand has partnered with Currency Marketing to conduct our “Speak at the Forum” challenge, that gives you two ways to land a spot on the agenda.
Here’s how it works. First, submit your session proposal. Your presentation may be so good that they will be selected and booked for the Forum automatically. The best remaining proposals will be put to a public vote. The winner will get an all-expense-paid trip to The Financial Brand Forum including event ticket, hotel and travel (worth $2,500). The second place finisher will win a free ticket to the Forum (worth $1,250), while third place gets an iPad mini (worth $329).
We’re looking for high-quality topics delivered by high-quality speakers. We’ve got a number of great speakers lined-up already, but what we’re really looking for is you. If you are a bank or credit union employee or a consultant serving the industry with a unique story and deep expertise to share, you are invited to apply to speak. Sessions should show financial marketers how to solve significant, common problems they face. Some specific topics to consider:
- How banks and credit unions can build a marketing plan/budget that gets results
- Strategies and tactics for building marketing campaigns that generate ROI
- Bridging the gap between marketing and sales
- Using social media channels to sell financial products and services
- Guerilla and non-traditional marketing tactics
- Advertising and marketing in online channels
- Loan growth, cross-selling and proven ways to increase depth of relationships
- Best marketing practices for business banking/lending services
- Successful financial branding, advertising and marketing case studies
- Media buying and channel selection for financial institutions
Proposals are due by Friday, October 18. The public vote for the Forum Wildcard slot will be held between Wednesday, October 23 through Tuesday, November 5 (election day). The winners will be announced the following day.
