Other banks can easily respond by saying &quot;you&#039;ll feel safe with us, too&quot;  or worse for Wamu, &quot;you&#039;ll feel safer with our bank since we haven&#039;t incurred billions in losses from the option arm mortgage meltdown, like WAMU has.&quot;</description>
