We agree with you and Jeffry and had strongly advised the client to keep the site up for at least a year. We had also developed a transition plan for them to take over after the initial promotion was completed which included strategy for content and ongoing community engagement. Unfortunately, right after the transition of the site was handed over was when the marketing team was downsized, and they did not have the resources on their end to maintain the site and all its profiles, nor did they have the budget to continue having it maintained and outsourced with our agency. So essentially, the microsite was a victim of the recession.</description>
