    Thank you for sharing the ranking for ‘Top banks using Social Media’. It is great information.

    However, measuring only ‘Likes’ or ‘Followers’ for this ranking may be misleading as the banks in larger markets will tend to dominate the ranking because of a larger client base and not because of better Social Media performance. Now, there is a lot of evidence about why measuring likes is not the best indicator. Instead, using metrics such as ‘Applause rate’ which takes ratio of likes to total followers might be more helpful and makes this a valid comparison. I trust this platform’s ability to provide factual information and insights, is taken seriously. Thank you in advance for providing an opportunity to contribute to improved future e-publications.

  2. Heta, while such data would be interesting and perhaps a better indicator of engagement, it is impossible to capture for thousands of different financial institutions at a practical level. There is no way to automatically capture the number of likes-per-post for such a huge audience, at least as far as I know.
