Thanks Belinda. I found the TV spots later, and meant to circle back and add the hotlink. Thanks for the reminder. It’s done now (article revised).
It would be nice if Harris had the spots at a corporate YouTube account. You guys have a lot of great spots from prior campaigns, and it’d be great to find all of Harris’s TV ads — both past and present — in one location. Just a suggestion.
Thanks again for the comment.
Thanks Jeffry. Great suggestion. I agree.
It’s interesting to see Harris treat this as some kind of formal launch of the “here to help” campaign – as the message and advertisements promoting it (especially bilboards and public transportation ads) have been around Chicago for a long time – I’d guess for more than a year now.
In the past 2 weeks however, I have noticed that the ads have seemed to resurface – and by the looks of it, Harris is certainly putting some muscle behind the campaign. And, from what I’ve seen, the ads do find clever ways to help people navigate the city of Chicago.
Yeah Brady, it’s interesting that they pulled back from TV for a while, especially after having so many successful TV campaigns in years past.
It’s too bad that the spots aren’t posted to youtube or some other viral source…
