What is the future for paper checks?

People will stop using them for personal stuff. But businesses will need them for a long time.
People will always use paper checks for both personal- and business reasons.
Paper checks will eventually go away forever. It's just a matter of time.
We should get rid of them soon because it's the green thing to do.
I really don't know...
