		<description>I agree that Branches will continue to exist, but with growing number of customers migrating to alternate channels it is important to understand why does the customer walk into the branch today? What are they coming for? what more can the bank deliver to the customer through branch?

The experience the customer gets at the branch by interacting with an individual is something which can never be replaced by customer walking into an ATM or a mobile phone. After all can an ATM dispense a glass of water to a thirsty customer?  Can a mobile phone smile at the customer? Now that&#039;s a personal touch.</description>
