"Unbanking" seems to be following the path of "credit unioning". Again, it's just another take on the bank vs. credit union argument. And while I personally like the term unbanking better, I'd like to see more institutions focus on unique points of differentiation (not those that simply highlight the banks vs. credit unions argument). The unbanking message may help a consumer realize that these credit unions aren't banks, but the message seems to do little beyond that.

Consumers have a lot of choices. What makes these credit unions different from other credit unions?
